In order to efficiently clean our hardwood floors we usually have to sweep away all the dirt before getting down on our hands and knees and scrubbing it. Mops are something that many of us have tried to use and failed miserably at. All they do is push the dirt around and make more of a mess than what we started with.
We are now being told that there is an easier way in which we can clean our floors. Shark has produced a line of steam cleaners that are designed specifically for hardwood, tile, ceramic, and linoleum flooring. These are slender, compact, upright steam mops that will release hot steam onto every inch of your floors. The microfiber pad is designed to pick up any excess dirt and to disinfect the area without using a bucket or mop. Shark steam cleaners will cost around $100.
Features
- This steam mop uses between 1,500 to 1,550 watts of power. This helps it to clean your floors and sanitize them with strong steam cleaning power.
- It is designed with a 12” cleaning path to help reach every inch of your kitchen including the corners and in between appliances. The backward and forwards motion will trigger the steam to be released rather then using a trigger.
- Shark has designed each model to be lightweight and compact for quick cleaning and easy storage.
- The microfiber pad is a triple action cleaning tool that will pick up all the dirt from your floor and help to remove stains without scratching it. You can easily remove the pad and wash it after every use.
Consumer Reviews
Pro: One of the things that people loved about Shark steam cleaners is that they were lightweight – which gave them the ability to clean their floors in record time. Each of their models also came with more then one cleaning pad and were designed with extra long cords so they could cover more areas at one time.
Con: However, they were disappointed with how difficult it was for the steam to come out. They would prefer to use a trigger that could release the amount of steam they wanted to use rather then the backwards and forwards motion.
