Hoover Steam Cleaners

When you are looking to purchase a steam cleaner there are certain brand names that you will look for and Hoover is one of them. The company began in 1908 when it released their first vacuum cleaner known as the “Boss”. Since that time their engineers have designed newer machines that would clean carpets and hardwood surfaces.

Hoover is well known for their all terrain steam cleaners that use their special spin scrub technology and edge cleaners combined with their heated cleaning to clean carpets and hardwood floors. These brushes allow it to dig deep down into the carpets to pull out all of the dirt and grime that it is holding onto. Many of their models will cost between $200 to $500.

  • Is designed with an 8’ hose and 30’ power cord to give you plenty of space to work and maneuver.

Consumer Reviews

Pro: Consumers who used Hoover steam cleaners were pleased with how well it was able to clean their carpets. They felt that it was easy to move around and cleaned their carpets better than any professional steam cleaning service.

Con: The one thing that most of the consumers were unhappy with were the numerous plastic parts and attachments used to make the steam cleaners. After using it once or twice they discovered that many of the important parts – like the spin brushes – had to be replaced.

Another problem they had was the fact that their all terrain steam cleaners did not come with all of the necessary attachments to clean hardwood floors. You had to purchase them separately.
